Dough:
500g - Strong Bread Flour
1tsp - salt
125g - butter
120g - lard
(add after mixing) 175ml cold water
Mix together lightly until it looks like breadcrumbs. Add water. Knead until elastic. wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Roll out pasty to 20cm diameter
400g Beef Skirt -
300g waxy potato (e.g. maris peer or wilja)
150g swede/rutabaga
150g onion
salt & pepper
mix veg and Meat, put filling on pastry. brush inside edges with water. fold pastry over. crimp edges together. add egg and milk glaze to outside. Bake at 330F, 50-55 Mins.
